Earlier this month, our development team had the privilege of visiting one of our long-standing clients, OKKO Eye Specialist Centre (OKKO) in-person for the first time. While we’ve collaborated for over five years through online meetings, there’s nothing like meeting face-to-face and seeing the impact of our work firsthand.
Why the visit?
Our partnership with OKKO has been incredibly rewarding, and we wanted to strengthen that bond by meeting the team, especially Dr. Matt Russell, the eye surgeon behind OKKO. While we’ve always communicated effectively through remote channels, it was important for us to build a more personal connection and get to know the team on a deeper level to ensure we continue delivering the best results.
How are we making a difference?
OKKO is a leader in ophthalmology, and their innovation in healthcare tech has been a game-changer in improving operational efficiency. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software system we’ve developed for them has streamlined their internal processes, saving valuable time and allowing the team to focus on what really matters – patient care.
Highlights from the visit
A highlight of our visit was seeing firsthand how our custom software solutions are enabling Dr. Russell’s team to make faster decisions, cut down on admin time, and deliver more value to patients. We had the chance to see him in action, moving swiftly between operating rooms, coordinating with his team, and ensuring everything ran like a well-oiled machine. The efficiency and speed at which everything was happening were truly impressive.
What’s next for OKKO?
Our visit also gave us the chance to sit down with Dr. Russell and his team outside of the daily hustle. These moments helped us understand their evolving needs and ensure our tech solutions are evolving with them.
