The AWS Architecture Review is an assessment of your existing AWS environment. We review areas such as security, cost-effectiveness, data storage, and system performance. This ensures your system follows best practices and is optimised for efficiency. 

Here’s what you get as part of the review:

  • Full check-up: We’ll review your AWS setup to find opportunities to improve security, boost performance, and increase scalability. 
  • Easy Action Plan: After the review, we’ll give you actionable recommendations to help you decide what to pursue. 
  • Ongoing Support: You’ll also get 12 months of access to AWS monitoring tools plus 20 hours of development support to make the improvements. 

The review will make sure your AWS environment is secure, efficient, and positioned to support your business’s long-term growth. 

As an AWS Partner, our experienced team will perform the review using the AWS Well-Architected Framework to guide our recommendations. 

Thanks to our AWS partnership, we’re able to offer the AWS Architecture Review at no upfront cost to you.  

After we complete the review and provide you with a summary of recommendations, AWS approves credits to support these improvements. Horizon Digital will invoice you for the exact value of these credits, which you pay. Once paid, these credits are yours to apply toward AWS hosting costs. 

So, in short: you get a free review, pay for AWS credits, and then use those credits to cover AWS hosting expenses. 

When the review is approved, the credits are applied to your AWS account. You can use these credits toward future AWS hosting expenses.

If AWS doesn’t approve the remediation work, no costs are incurred.

Depending on your AWS configuration, the review process takes anywhere from 20 minutes to a few hours. Once we begin, we’ll keep you updated throughout and ensure you have a clear timeline.

The update timing is dependent on AWS. Some settings may reflect within an hour, but it can take up to five days for all adjustments to appear.

Not only do we identify issues and provide prioritised recommendations, but we’ll also provide 20 hours of development support to make the improvements.

We’ll need access to your AWS account and a primary contact from your team. This ensures we have the insights and permissions needed to perform a thorough review. (We’ll provide specific details on permissions required.)

6Pillars.ai is safe as it integrates with your AWS environment in a read-only capacity. This means it doesn’t make changes to the system or interact with data beyond simply analysing it.
